Guess who is teething???

Brandon seems to be shoving anything he can get his hands on into his mouth. Luckily he isn't crawling yet... He's not too cranky in the morning. but as the afternoon comes and goes he gets more irritated and I feel helpless to help him. He likes to put anything cloth in his mouth too, I think it's because it's something easier to hold on to and fits in his mouth really well. Daddy's fingers work well and Brandon is getting better at keeping his pacifier in his mouth, even after he takes it out!

I spent a day out with Brandon. We went to Toni and Chuckie's house and then out to eat for Pho. Mmmm so good, I could eat that every day! After that we headed to the Fubon store and I bought edemame and some chicken marinade Toni said was delicious. Then to Jo Ann fabric and craft where I didn't buy a single thing!!! And that is a rarity for me. I love that store! Then we headed to Wal-mart to pick up Chuckie who didn't want to go to the craft store. I tried to feed Brandon while Toni went to get Chuckie but he wasn't having it. So we decided to head back to their house and try again.

I left a couple hours later and when I got home I found these flowers on our back porch. Right next to the bag of dirty diapers that needed to get to the garbage. John still brings me flowers to brighten my day.

John came home a little bit later and he heated up some leftover pot roast. We started feeding Brandon rice cereal before bed and I'll be sure to get some pictures posted as soon as we get the hang of feeding him.

Toni is bugging me to make Spinach Pie. Anyone who grew up in the Roush household is very fond of Mom's Spinach Pie. Sooo good! Well I need to get going but I'll post some more pictures of Brandon before I do. These are from Gateway's annual church camp out. This year it was at Nehalem Bay.



John "shares" his beer with Brandon. He likes to have a beer before bed.... We ONLY let him when were camping! :-)



The next morning Brandon helps John wake up by wriggling around.




I can't believe that he fell asleep like that.


Taking a quick snooze while I eat some soggy dinner. It started to rain at the potluck and my plate got all wet before we made it back to the camp and out of the rain.

John and Brandon at a restaurant near Mt. Hood we ate at the day before our 2nd anniversary. Luckily we were able to do something then, the next day on our way to the coast we ended up with a flat tire and stuck for hours in the heat just out side of Salem.
