Tomorrow we officially close on the house. John would like to start moving in after work but I'm not sure that's practical. Maybe if we could get everything loaded early enough. I just don't want to be moving furniture at 10 and I want to keep a semi normal schedule for Brandon. I bet we could do it but how tired do I want to be??? Anyway, we are both very excited and so are our families. I imagine going grocery shopping and not having to make trips back and forth from the parking lot in the rain to unload my car and having to hope Brandon doesn't get into anything. I'll now be able to pull into our garage and unload from the safety of the indoors! And to have space for our furniture will be so nice too. A big enough area to have more than two people over at a time!!! What an idea! I love the hope of not having our neighbors flick their cigarette butts on our deck and our yard, and having the smell of kitty litter above my head every time I come home or leave. We don't have a cat!
We drove to the house today and they had the "SOLD" sign up and it was such a good feeling. We walked through to make sure that everything that we had asked them to take care of was, most things were, some were not. So hopefully they will get their act together today and get it fixed. Slightly overwhelmed, I have a lot of last minute packing to do. Brandon will spend most of the day in his play pen to keep him out of the way and so I know where he is. He started to attempt to crawl up the stairs at the house so I know he is looking forward to getting to do that soon.

Tonight I get to have dinner with my folks and Toni and Chuckie to celebrate dad's birthday. We're going to this good italian place called Giuseppe's. Decent food and prices. Plenty of food for everyone. Hopefully we'll have enough leftovers so I won't have to worry about dinner tomorrow night. I don't know if we'll still be in the apartment or in the new house. Either way nothing will be unpacked enough for me to cook. Maybe we'll just have pizza delivered. Anyway, Brandon is down for his nap and I should try to get something to eat and more packed before he wakes up. Wish me luck!

just started doing some blogg catch up... I can't believe you guys are finally moving. Gresham no less, if only you lived there when I did, it would of been much easier to visit. Congrats on the house. Nice work. Next december I'm in town, we can celebrate Trina and John's birthdays together
