The Good, the bad and the Ugly....
First the bad news, we aren't going to move in to the house we have been looking at. The least of the problems that we discovered on the inspection today was lead paint on the walls. They have a rusty furnace, asbestos on their pipes, the house has LP siding which if you don't know sucks and apparently there was a huge lawsuit in which money was paid to those who had it. Apparently they didn't feel like they needed to replace it with the money they received... and the roof tiles were put on incorrectly... The inspector said he would not buy the house and it would cost over $100,000 to fix everything. No thanks.
The good news is we are looking at another house tomorrow and have been e-mailed over 100 houses to look at in both the Gresham and Clackamas areas. Please keep praying for us in our search. When God closes a door he has to open a window!
And now for the ugly. Brandon got his first two teeth finally but they didn't come in the bottom, they are on the top and look terrible. Here is a picture of them.

That is so funny about the teeth...where did you get that...is it a binkie?
Sorry to hear about the house. I can't believe they thought they could sell their house with LP siding on it! I guess they took the settlement money and upgraded the kitchen! We paid off our Jeep with our settlement money. That left us with no car payments, so we were able to save up the money to reside our house by the time we ready to move...some people just don't get it!
I almost died of laughter, that binky is hilarious!
Oh bummer about that house, but that is why there are inspectors, so you were definitely being looked over! Good luck with the next ones you look at!
