A little about the house...
It's a brand new house out in Gresham off Powell Valley Road, 2618 sqft, 5 bedrooms, 2.5 bath, two fireplaces, one in the master!!! Formal dining and a huge family room that's open to the kitchen. Plenty of rooms for John and I to each have one for hobbies and a spare room for when his grandma comes to town.
It's going to be interesting to see how packing goes with a baby who is getting into everything. He is getting his first teeth on the bottom and is pulling himself up on everything. The dishwasher door, the window sill, coffee table, couches, even the entertainment center! He needs some type of walker so he can move around but he won't be able to fall backwards.... maybe I'll even get some things done while he is occupied. It's a bit nerve wracking watching Brandon trying to be a big boy but I think he is more hurt from realizing that he's no longer standing then from the act of falling down. I'm sure he'll be walking in a few months. Mom keeps reminding me of how talented or early developed her kids were, like she is bragging. Aaron could walk at ten months. Alyssa was saying "hi" at three and I got my first tooth at three months.
Well I have a pile of laundry that needs to get folded and if I want lunch before Brandon wakes up from his nap I need to get going. Hope everyone is doing well. Love Andrea
